WIC-2-SM Sway Brace / Wall Tie
Type WIC-2-SM is a masonry wall tie designed to connect two masonry walls built together. There is no limit on wall thickness or cavity for this sway brace (see photo).
WIC-2-SM acoustic wall braces are used when space is limited between the isolated wall and the main building structure.
WIC-2-SM Acoustic Wall Tie
The WIC-2-SM acoustic element is only 60mm wide so can be fitted within most cavities. There are several WIC variants suitable for blockwork and stud walls and the critical dimensions of the sway brace can be varied to suit.
