The WIC acoustic wall tie is a low profile, low cost sway brace. Minimum cavity = 40mm
WIC acoustic wall braces are used when space is limited between the isolated wall and the main building structure.
WIC Acoustic Brace
The WIC acoustic sway brace is only 40mm wide so can be fitted within most cavities. There are variants suitable for blockwork and stud walls and the critical dimensions of the sway brace can be varied to suit.
